Please read this Privacy Policy to understand how SAARATHEE CRM handles personal information.
1. POLICY STATEMENT
1.1 Saarathee CRM Private Limited (“Company” or “we” or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of the data and personal information that has been provided to it and handling such data / information in accordance with applicable data protection regulations (including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules framed thereunder).
1.2 We reserve the right to change the terms of this privacy policy without notice. You are requested to review this policy periodically, to remain aware of any changes.
1.3 By providing personal information to the Company, you hereby accept and consent to the terms of this privacy policy.
2. SCOPE/COVERAGE
This policy is applicable to all personal information collected, received, possessed, owned, controlled, stored, dealt with or handled by the Company. Personal information that the Company handles in relation to its employees, contractors, vendors, customers and business partners in the context of services shall be processed according to the contractual provisions and this privacy policy.
3. DEFINITIONS
3.1 Unless otherwise defined in this policy, for purposes hereof, when used in this policy, and unless the context otherwise requires, the following terms shall have the meanings assigned to them below:
(a) “personal information” means any information that relates to a natural person, which, directly or indirectly, in combination with other information available or likely to be available to a body corporate, is capable of identifying such person.
(b) “sensitive personal data or information” of a person means such personal information which consists of information relating to:
- password;
- financial information such as bank account or credit card or debit card or other payment instrument details;
- physical, physiological and mental health condition;
- sexual orientation;
- medical records and history;
- biometric information;
- any detail relating to the above clauses as provided to body corporate for providing service; and
- any of the information received under above clauses by body corporate for processing, stored or processed under lawful contract or otherwise.
Information that is freely available or accessible in public domain or furnished under the Right to Information Act, 2005 or any other applicable law shall not be regarded as sensitive personal data or information for the purposes of this policy.
4. PROVISIONS
4.1 Collection of Information
We may collect your personal information when you are a recipient of our services, user of our platform/portal, our business partner, our training partner, apply for a position with us or our clients, or are employed by us or associated with us as a consultant, vendor or supplier, an individual or corporate who register on our portal. We may also collect your personal information from other sources, including sources in the public domain.
The information we collect may include name, address, telephone number, email address, gender, user ID and password, disability certificate, ID proofs, educational details and other information necessary for providing services.
4.2 Use of Information
Unless required by applicable law, the Company will not use, give or distribute personal information to third parties except where necessary for delivery of services or on a need-to-know basis. We may use information to carry out contractual obligations, provide services, comply with law, protect legal rights and interests, perform compliance and audit functions, and where you have given consent for a specific purpose.
4.3 Transfer and Disclosure of Information
We may share information among affiliates, business partners, suppliers and subcontractors where you have consented, where required by law or professional obligations, where required to provide services, where necessary to protect rights and safety, in connection with transfer of business assets, or where third parties perform functions on our behalf such as hosting, email communications and data analysis.
Some third parties may be located outside your country. Where lawful, their privacy and confidentiality obligations may differ from the requirements of the jurisdiction of origin.
In the event of a change in applicable law, you consent to continued use, storage, collection and disclosure of your information to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. We may request additional consents where required.
4.4 Protection of Personal Information
We take reasonable security measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorized or accidental access, disclosure, alteration and destruction, and maintain appropriate technical, physical and organizational measures and industry practices.
4.5 Rights as a Data Subject
You have the right to withdraw consent, subject to applicable service limitations, and the right to update or correct information. Requests may be made by writing to hr@saarathee.com (if you are a person with disability), contacting your account manager (if you are a corporate), or writing to info@saarathee.com otherwise.
4.6 Storage and Retention of Information
The Company shall store personal information and/or sensitive personal data for such period as is necessary for the specified purpose or as permitted by applicable law, whichever is earlier. Employee records may be retained during employment and for ten years thereafter, subject to the circumstances and legal requirements described in the Company's policy. The Company may retain anonymized data for such period as it may deem fit.
